Alberto Limonta began his golfing career at Golf Club Villa d’Este, where he became a player in 1975.
He soon entered the amateur golf tour, which led him to play more than 300 tournaments, both at the national and internation level, and to achieve excellent results and prestigious victories, specifically:
Two-time Italian Team Championship winner, playing for Circolo di Villa d’Este
Targa d’Oro Villa d’Este winner and Gran Premio Albenza champion in 1980
Campionato Lombardo winner in 1985
Third place at Memorial Barres Open in Crans-Montana, Switzerland
Gran Premio Monticello and Gran Premio Garda Golf champion in 1992
Subsequently, in 1993, he acquired the National Professional Card at F.I.G., securing second place and thus taking part in the European Challenge Tour.
Once turning professional, Alberto competed in numerous tournaments across Europe, Africa and America, managing to keep hold of his Tour Card for 7 years, before a serious accident in 2000.
At the end of the 90s in Florida, he took lessons from one of the greats, David Leadbetter, an experience that will later influence his teaching method.

In 2002, Alberto began his golf instructor career at:
Golf Club Acropolis (CO) from 2003 to 2004, with an added role of planner and president
Golf Club Cà del Moro (MS) from 2004 to 2005, with an added role of planner and president
Golf Club Virginia (CO)
Golf Club Alpi del Mare (CN)
Golf School Grand Hotel Imperiale (CO)

In 2015 he then planned Golf Club Cinque Laghi, to which he’s now president and golf instructor.
